www.eng (currently
“schooner”) is the faculty Web server. A www.eng account is provided with your Waterloo Nexus account.
- Your address is: www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/~yourID
- Your www.eng account stores its files on EngFile in your N:\public_html directory.
- File permissions must be correct for your HTML files to appear on the Web. New files you place in your public_html directory automatically get the correct permissions.
- You can run CGI scripts. Place them in N:\public_html\cgi-bin, and access them with URL: http://www.eng.uwaterloo.ca/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/your_ID/your_script
