Adeel Akhtar

PhD. Candidate, University of Waterloo

I completed my Masters (MASc) degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Waterloo working with Professor Christopher Nielsen in the area nonlinear control design of planer mobile robots using transverse feedback linearization. My MASc thesis titled dynamic path following controllers for planer mobile robots. I did my undergraduate in Mechatronics Engineering at College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, National University of Sciences & Technology, Rawalpindi, Pakistan. After his undergraduate he worked in Advanced Engineering Research Organization, Pakistan, as a research engineer for three years.

I'm a member of the WAVE Lab, and the NCFRN Field Robotics Network.

I love traveling and taking pictures.

I served as executive of University of Waterloo Cricket Club for more than 2 years. I participated and won many cricket awards at University of Waterloo and Waterloo region. I also lead my team in Southern Ontario Cricket Association (SOCA) league.
