Ali is an NSERC post-doctoral fellow in the PRISM lab at the university of
Toronto and Bloorview research institute. He holds a Ph.D degree (2014) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from
the University of Waterloo, preceded by M.Sc and B.Sc degrees in
Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Manitoba
(2009) and the University of Kuwait (2006), respectively.
Ali's research interests are Machine Learning, Inferential Statistics,
BioSignal Processing, Wearable Technologies, and Affective Computing.
