Spam Report
The latest wave of attempted spam postings to this site has taken a new approach. Instead of posting links directly to the bad web page, the links are to spam user account profile pages from forums of legitimate websites which then have links to the bad web pages. I can tell you now, NVIDIA, IronRuby and CodeProject have tons of bogus spam accounts created in their forums... And now, back to studying computer networks and the wonderful underlyings of the Internet...

Dear everyone,
*Spits out bones* I'm going to the surplus sale to buy a ThinkPad. Thanks, Eeyore
Dan H. | |
...Two of them. | |
Calvin | |
But...but...I already have an Asus...
Katie | |
Dear everyone, I think Eeyore has released Alex for a few hours to go to the surplus sale @ East Campus Hall this afternoon. If you spot him please let me know that he's alive. =)
Thanks, Katie | |

No Calvin, Alex's Thinkpad sucks, get an Asus. =D
Calvin | |
Alex! Dan says you love recommending laptops. Where are you hiding? I asked Winnie the Pooh and all his friends, but theyseem to think a Thinkpad is something they sit on to ponder life's mysteries...

Alex,
Perhaps you have not read the study by Shea, S.E. et al. that Winnie and friends are all suffering from neuro-developmental problems, and therefore are not eligible candidates to write your exams. I would suggest asking Ludwig Von Drake for questions regarding your Engineering related exams. For your business related questions, find Scrooge McDuck in Toon-town. If all else fail, feel free to contact Genie and wish for multiple 100%. I'd do it quickly, the Cave of Wonder gets filled with lava around this time of the year. Good luck, and good day. - Tim P.S. Mickey said he'd love to help, but is too busy with multiple projects, something about beating Dreamworks and the urgency to milk more money out of the Jonas Brothers. He did say that you're welcome to visit him at the Magic Kingdom though -- free Dining through August! Book your visit today!

Dear Dan,
This is an automated message I have been eaten by Eeyore when he got happier after reading the Weekly Briefing notes about the stock market rising for one day. Please call Tigger, Pooh and Piglet to write my three remain exams for me. They can rock-paper-scissors over which one they want to write. Thanks, Alex
Dan H. | |
Dear Alex,
Where are you hiding nowadays? Regards, Dan

I'm learning to delegate my tasks to others so I have more free time to do other things:
![]() Eeyore studies Larry Smith's ECON 102 notes on the crisis of credit. I'll have Eeyore teach me later. ![]() Now I see why Eeyore looks like that.

Mother Nature is telling you all to stay in and study!

They're BAD. If you can stay indoors, do so. They're not sanding anything so people are slipping and sliding left and right. Yeah, stay indoors. :)

The view from my window on this frosty spring day: ![]() Are roads and sidewalks icy and slippery? I have no idea. I haven't gone outside since the "storm" hit.

The mild Redmond temperatures are nice, but I do like the variety of Toronto. And, oh wow, do we have variety now!
Come on, Dan. You know you just want to go back to the cloudless blue skies of San Diego.
Calvin | |
Don't lie Dan, you know you like the mild west coast weather just as much as we do =D
Dan H. | |
In 5 months time, you'll be posting the same thing, wishing you were back in TO :)
