Oops, forgot to link
And I digress, it seems the centerpiece is just for show, customers get their own pot, a-la shabu-shabu style.
Timbo | |
![]() The world’s largest hot pot in Chengdu, China, measures 12 meters in diameter and 4 meters tall. Kind of gross me out, the amount of saliva swimming in that pot.

Yea too bad that they are not a real web 2.0 website haha
Did you know that you can *only* trademark brands in Chinese in China? That means anyone can call their own company "Microsoft" or "Google" without legal responsibilities. However, given the fact that companies like Microsoft and Google has a lot of money, they can get things done in some other ways ;) *ahem bribe*

And dear lord, China and their lack of care for intellectual properties.

Hong Kong Disneyland! Everyone says it's really small, but I bet you can still find lots to do. Their Tomorrowland definitely looks very awesome, and the special MRT that brings you to Disney is all Mickey-fied, lol, so awesome!
A friend of mine I met at Disney actually went to HK Disneyland just a few weeks ago. He got scared when Mickey Mouse spoke Chinese, hahaha.

Wow...hearing Mickey Mouse speak Chinese is slightly weird, but slightly awesome...haha...

I've added some captions to the Fairchild TV (新時代電視) broadcasted second half (the better half) of the Chinese New Years 2007 Show at the new Splendid China Tower photo album. The first half was a show put on by Toronto First Radio (多倫多第一台).

Chinese New Years 2007 Show at the new Splendid China Tower
超級無敵八星倒數迎新歲 The new Splendid China Tower (錦繡中華) shopping mall just opened on Saturday in time for the Chinese New Year celebrations. It's located across from Pacific Mall where the Canadian Tire used to be. On Chinese New years Eve, a great show was put on at centre court to usher in the new year. Local Chinese radio DJ's and celebrities from Hong Kong entertained the crowd with performances, 超級無敵獎門人-type games and lots of prizes. Celebrities from Hong Kong included: 曾志偉, 林曉峰, 梅小惠, 阮兆祥, 康子妮, 關寶慧, 姚樂怡 and Si Si. Photos from the show ![]()

And just to let you know, typing those words took me a looong time! Oh yea, no showering or cleaning the house today, or risk a whole year of Asian bad luck!

These are the types of people that I have come to loathe after taking one too many Math courses... Why does Math come so easily to everyone else but me?!?!

I'm just helping TD spread the awesome music from The Klein Four Group. For the mathie in you...
Warning: intense usage of mathematical terms ahead. Finite Simple Group (of order two) A Klein Four original by Matt Salomone YouTube - Finite Simple Group (of Order Two) The path of love is never smooth But mine's continuous for you You're the upper bound in the chains of my heart You're my Axiom of Choice, you know it's true But lately our relation's not so well-defined And I just can't function without you I'll prove my proposition and I'm sure you'll find We're a finite simple group of order two I'm losing my identity I'm getting tensor every day And without loss of generality I will assume that you feel the same way Since every time I see you, you just quotient out The faithful image that I map into But when we're one-to-one you'll see what I'm about 'Cause we're a finite simple group of order two Our equivalence was stable, A principal love bundle sitting deep inside But then you drove a wedge between our two-forms Now everything is so complexified When we first met, we simply connected My heart was open but too dense Our system was already directed To have a finite limit, in some sense I'm living in the kernel of a rank-one map From my domain, its image looks so blue, 'Cause all I see are zeroes, it's a cruel trap But we're a finite simple group of order two I'm not the smoothest operator in my class, But we're a mirror pair, me and you, So let's apply forgetful functors to the past And be a finite simple group, a finite simple group, Let's be a finite simple group of order two (Oughter: "Why not three?") I've proved my proposition now, as you can see, So let's both be associative and free And by corollary, this shows you and I to be Purely inseparable. Q. E. D.
