hahaah.... i'm so not happenin' with it, i know i know.
Oh alex, you did a 360 around me with the Internet. You surprise me for an oldie ;D

What cell phone plan do you have?

Alex T.
You mean you don't use the internet on your phone? That's so 2006...hahaha

From anywhere, I can check the random messages that are posted on this page, check my email, read news, etc. It's awesomely productive when waiting in line for OSAP at Needles Hall. =D

But yea...Opera Mini, and a lot of new apps aren't playing nice on my two-and-a-half-year phone... I'm hoping the Samsung m500 works well with the new apps, sites and the EVDO network.

:O you actually use log onto the Internet with your cell phone???

lol your phone is... like... 2 years old? haha... oh well Alex. Time to upgrade? (me too... with my cell phone from grade... 10? haha)

Alex T.
Wow...I need a new cell phone...it reboots when I use the Internet =(

And the Google GMail and Maps apps don't work. *tear*

Scott
hahaha...

"If you are linking to an index.html file, leave off the index.html, for example, for Undergraduate Studies, link to http://ece.uwaterloo.ca/Undergrad/ and not http://ece.uwaterloo.ca/Undergrad/index.html — this looks so unprofessional it's not funny. Also, keep the trailing slash, that is, do not use http://ece.uwaterloo.ca/Undergrad."

Oh... the standards guy at ECE forgot to close a tag too... hehe hurray for web standards!

Scott, your sausage fest comment just made my WEEK, LOL

Scott
this logo was released last summer. this logo is also one of the worst logos that ECE has ever had. well, at least it doesn't even try to hide the fact that ECE is one huge sausagefest.

Timbo
Then to Disney World after right? =P

For those who don't know, that's the new University of Waterloo Faculty of Engineering Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (E&CE) logo.

Alex T.
And if I can get a photo of it one day, I'll show the rest of you something cool that's related to these mascots (at least some of us in Waterloo think so).

Anonymous
i really like their mascots... i think it's all very cute and well thought out (maybe a taddd cliché with the elements and all, but just the number of symbolism is nice)

Timbo
C'mon, it's all about the electric music stand! hahaha. I wonder how that looks like? Does it come with a stylus for notation marking?

I could always use a Thermally Powered Self-Stirring Pot.

UW E&CE Fourth Year Design Symposium

All 3rd and 4th year Electrical & Computer Engineering (E&CE) classes were cancelled today for the E&CE Fourth Year Design Symposium. Many interesting projects in various fields of application were conjured up by the graduate class. In another year, the fourth year design project (FYDP) fun begins for our class.
