| Raymond Phung proposed the changes to the title, I remembering discussing this with him, although he was pretty much set on making the move. As well, that music you hear during the lightning, yup, it's the standard bg music for the title sequence.

um, first thoughts from me: 1. it's ok. 2. i can't say it's better than what we did 3. but it's not much worse either 4. was relatively moving (i.e. no long ass clips like we did :D) 5. like that they sped up some of the slow-mo athletics hahahaha 6. maybe too long, but ok i suppose 7. song was waaaaaaay too repetitous, it's a nice song, but not for a video like this 8. tim: agreed with the "Classroom" thing 9. um. what's with the clear blue sky behind the Mac Media title? I don't think *anything* should be there, but i'm old-school. But even then. Shouldn't it at least be a cloudy sky? 10. wait, Mac Media is still *alive*??? *shock* 11. there's probably more for me to say, but i'll leave it to others... | |

They really need better musical choices, and I don't think the content represented Mac properly. (Classroom? WTH?) But overall it was nicely done. I shall reserve my judgment till someone else have a poke at it. | |

| well...I guess it's not so bad if you live near north campus...but if you're south and west of main campus...then it's a little exercise...
BTW, Radio Waterloo's office hours are 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM and the cut-off date to get refunds is January 23rd. | |

| Radio Waterloo actually isn't *that* far a walk if you're just going for a stroll. It's maybe 10 minutes or less from Columbia. Now to know when to visit for a refund... | |

| UW studentcare.net/works Health & Dental Plan
For all of you UW co-op students who were on co-op term this past fall term and are now back to campus for the winter academic term, did you know that you can't opt out of the health and dental plan now?! WTH?! Apparently our change-of-coverage period was in September (when we weren't even in school and didn't even pay any tuition or fees at all). WTH?! At least that's what studentcare.net says when I tried to opt out. So if you're trying to opt out of the health and dental plan this term, try it and let me know how it goes... is there something I'm missing? Did any of you opt out in September when you were on co-op work term? If yes, how did you know about it? I don't remember getting any notification of this absolutely absurd change. www.studentcare.net Time to pay a visit to SLC 1121A - studentcare.net health & dental plan office. Radio Waterloo Has anyone ever gotten their refund for Radio Waterloo? Do any of you even know where it is? Not many I suppose... that's because it's alllll the way here:

| Back to Waterloo!
So an awesome work term at ATI, oops, I mean AMD, has whizzed by and back to Waterloo it is for me. I loved the environment at work. Everyone seemed so into making everything work. It's just amazing seeing the hard work and time that some people devote to the company. I loved it so much that I decided to take up their offer for returning in May 2007 for another term. I was going to approach my manager to ask about next term, but he beat me to it! All I had to do was sign on the line. Awesome. So that's one less thing to worry about during the academic term: no JobMine = no interview stress burden during mid-term season. Sweet. It feels like home when I sit here in my room at the townhouse. Strange? Mmm... This'll be my third term in this room, but with two new housemates. Mr. Adrian and Sherman (from our class) are moving in with us. So here goes the 3A academic term (starting Wednesday January 3rd). Best of luck to all. For everyone else still on they wonderful holiday break, enjoy it while it lasts! For those starting their work terms, enjoy that too! And now, back to my regularly scheduled programming: work term report. Happy New Year to all! | |

Either that, or University of Guelph sends me a bill notice via email whenever the same two nouns are mentioned. | |
