Today's discussion.
At least that was one of the topics that came up at our little co-op lunch gathering...amongst other things
Scott | |

Holy giant teddy is right! That was my first reaction when I entered the park...I just wanted to run to the top of the giant hill and admire the awesome sight of humungous teddy bears, ginormous squid, and armies of little kids flying kites into trees. Awesome-ness!

Kite Fest 2006
Okay, so it's been almost a month since Kite Fest 2006 on September 17, 2006 at Milliken Park, but what the heck. Here are the photos from it: http://www.ece.uwaterloo.ca/~atruong/kitefest06 ![]() This has got to be the largest collection of Chinese families having fun that I have ever seen. Twas cool.

And "complimentary" sounds like they're giving you a deal. "Our compliments"..."It's on us!"
Alex T. | |
Still with the Bosco thing, eh?
Dan T. | |
Alex, Tim: They're essentially the same, but Charing cross-posts the entries from kozzi.bosco-wong.com to LJ. Comments, however, are all on the bosco-wong.com site.
Scott: The pdf reads "Complimentary Admission"
Tim L. | |
Continuing the link updates, I do believe Ms. Charing now resides at http://kozzi.bosco-wong.com/ rather then her livejournal.

Alive & Kicking?
Thursday October 5, 2006 Dead people coming back to life and taking revenge on the living has been the focus of many a horror flick, but how about cows? A worker at a beef factory in Guelph found out that some beef has more kick in it than others - he was kicked in the face by a dead cow while trying to remove its hooves. The man was hit in the chin and was taken to hospital as a precaution. A spokesman for Better Beef said dead animals can sometimes twitch involuntarily after they've been killed. This guy may want to go vegetarian after this incident.
