Hmmm... from my experience with Terminal 1 so far is that everything has been super fast... usually I only have to wait for about 5 minutes to see my luggages on the belt. There's also lots of places to eat around the terminal too... although my only complaint is that the Starbucks there does not accept Starbucks card. :( haha jk...
Oh yea... London Fog @ starbucks everyone...
Richard | |
That sounds cool. I really want to see what Terminal 1 looks like...
Tim L. | |
I'd be willing to volunteer for the test run! But someone will have to come with me!
Scott | |
Lol... from the meeting today...
"The PeopleSoft is down!"... now sing that... to this tune
Alex T. | |
Sweet super huge Nikon D80. Now, to find a Nikon Speedlight SB-800 flash unit big enough for it. LOL... FLASH! Ultimate seizure cam...wanna try, Raymond? =D
Xiao, are you sure technology hates you? or do YOU hate technology? =P BTW, anyone want to trial-run Terminal 1 at Pearson Airport? "As part of the preparations taking place for the opening of the final phase of Terminal 1 in early 2007, the GTAA Facility Activation team is seeking the assistance of the general public to participate in operational trials of Terminal 1. In early 2007, Terminal 2 will be closed and all current USA operations will be merged into a new portion of existing Terminal 1. The GTAA is currently preparing for a large scale simulation in the building, testing many new procedures designed to save passengers time while navigating through Toronto Pearson International Airport. This simulation will also give the general public a view of the new facilities before it is open for operations. The volunteers will play an important part in the development of Terminal 1. Acting as actual passengers they will be able to shape the way that the GTAA operates this new state of the art facility. From entering the terminal to traversing through the departures and arrivals areas, they will perform the tasks typical of passengers once the building is operational. At this time the GTAA is taking registrations for the Following Trial: Advanced Trial #1 - Transborder (USA) Operations Date: Saturday October 28th, 2006 Time: 09:00 - 12:00 Number of Volunteers Required: 1400 Refreshments will be served in the morning, and a gift card for lunch will be provided for each volunteer, which may be used anytime. You will also receive a gift of thanks, and free parking. If you are interested in attending this exciting trial" GTAA - Terminal 1 Operational Trials =D
