Raymond, just add /images at the back of the address.

Must have been pointlessly crowded. The so-called "entertainment" at the Toronto Night Market has always been a combination of snore and bore. SOME food however are good, but the rest are okay.

Speaking of Fine Dining, I went to Bennigan right by Vista Way Complex today, it was only $10USD for a plate of baby back rib with sides! It'd normally would've costed like $18.00 CDN!

Miss Alice is right on with the powerlines... I do wish they were stars though.

i think they're powerlines :P

Took a brief look at the pictures that you posted. I got through probably 80% of them... I like how the noise of the D70 looks film-grain-ish when you push the exposure (evidenced by the dark green background of the singer in the early evening). I think your most dramatic shot is that first basketball one of the guy driving to the lane. Love the star trails at the end (they're star trails, right? Not just glowing power lines or something...?)

you're right about the speakers. those things were absolute beasts.

Toronto Night Market 2006

Friday July 7 and Saturday July 8, 2006 was yet another gathering of the largest number of Asian people you'll ever see in one place in the GTA. Toronto Night Market 2006 at Metro Square was full of food, tournaments, and performances.

The first set of photos (mainly of the performances on stage) from Saturday are now up. I haven't had time to pick and choose yet, so some quick tweaks and a few mouse clicks later, here they are...unsorted.

All I can say is...wow, I need a 70-200mm f/2.8 VR and a 17-55 mm f/2.8. Photo-ing at night of a dimly lit stage with a billion people around you and speakers loud enough to rip your ears off is quite a challenge...

Actually, I miss fine dining in general! And I miss it so much that I feel the need to post it in your space.

P.S. I assume you havn't watched any of the Pirates still, so we'll watch the first one when I get back, follow by the 2nd one in a theatre, yes? Yes.
