Wow... I'm sure you would've gotten all those interviews had you applied to them back in 1B. From the sounds of it (unless you've been doing some serious outside-of-school training) a lot of those jobs required stuff that I'm sure you didn't get from BMO.
FYI... the pink's starting to get old... and searing on the eyeballs... but most definitely and more importantly - old. :)
Raymond | |
wtf??? hey!!! spam on ur own blog not our little community one lol
good luck on those interviews though
Alex T. | |
Let's just say this Messaging page has severely outgrown what I originally had intended it to be...time to revamp! Wait, time? Hahahahahaha...
Well, thanks for the reformatting, Miss. And yes, there are still ways to break this page... which you can find out how... maybe you can play with it on my testing page instead of this public page... no intentional page-breaking on this page pretty please? I don't have much time to fix the damage these days =P You can play in the sandbox... and get "long time ago" and other... funky... phenomenon =D And I still do have your paper box...
Anonymous | |
omg you fixed it alex!
gawwwwwwwwd make me look like an idiot (again) :P I want my paper box! or did you turn it into a ball and throw it out? -__________-
Anonymous | |
wow... i didn't break it...
you did something certainly funky... :P I want to do a "long time ago" time stamp :( haah

Jobmine Phase 2: Update
12 rejections, 7 interviews and still waiting to hear from 37 others. The interviews are for a variety of jobs: from software testing to hardware testing to intranet portal development... and the first ones are next Monday! In fact, two on Monday, two on Tuesday, another on Wednesday and two more the week after that (Midterm Exams Week! Eeek!) For those of you who are not familiar with what kind of jobs a UW Computer Engineering student actually applies for, here's a run down of the positions I have interviews for: First of all there was that ATI 2D Component (drivers) job I described earlier. Then there's another ATI one: Associate Applications Engineering. This time, more hardware components-related. Testing motherboards and what not. (More on my interest level, even if it's repetitive. Sweet.) JOB PURPOSE Applications Engineering students work closely with industry leading PC design companies in a high profile role to provide engineering expertise across a full range of ATI desktop graphics, mobile graphics, chipsets and multimedia products. Practical skills and experience in PC system assembly/disassembly, troubleshooting/repair, usage of lab equipment such as scopes, digital multi-meters, soldering tools, etc. are assets. It seems like something I can handle with no problem at all. ------------------------------------------------ Next, and IBM one: WebSphere Application Server The WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is a fully J2EE compliant Java-based high performance engine for dynamic e-business applications.
