56 applied jobs in total. Before Any of the applications changed status, one ATI job was suddenly filled already. They found someone else where? A returning student? Who knows. Active applications--; Now down to 55. Bring on the rejections! (to jobs that I'm horribly not qualified for...) Active applications -= 4; Now down to 51. An interview! Interviews++; ATI 2D Component Development. i.e. 2D display driver development I suppose from the job description: ------------------------------------------------ ATI Technologies Inc, Headquarters Job Title: 2D Component Development Work Location: Thornhill Available Openings: 1 JOB PURPOSE Develop and maintain Microsoft Windows 2D Display Drivers for ATI graphics chips KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Programming and debugging 2D Display driver which is responsible for Windows 2D graphics display and PC system level interfaces. - Daily maintenance of some automated test systems in order to ensure driver quality. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS REQUIRED - Experienced in C and C++ programming. - Knowledge of PC system architecture and its components. - Experienced in assemble PC systems. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Good problem solving and self learning skills. NICE TO HAVE - Knowledge of driver level programming and debugging. ------------------------------------------------ The interview will be conducted on Tuesday June 6, 2006. I've slotted it for 12:00pm. *hopes* So, at the end of the week, I have: 1 Filled/Cancelled, 4 Rejections, 1 Interview, 50 more applications that the employers haven't screened and selected people for interviews yet. | hey guess wat? an elderly chinese man causing a disturbance about him not being able to return a scratched wok that speaks almost perfect english called my supervisor racist to chinese wen i was standing right there, im like wtf? so i told him off and i told him off real good too cause that means hes saying my supervisor is racist against me and our other coworker at the mall and that he is racist against everybody at the mall
