Back to my townhouse I go here in Waterloo to start my 2B academic term. I've been scrubbing here and there for about 4 hours now. The previous inhabitants didn't seem to care much about cleanliness... Brown and black rims around the sink, toilet and tub? errmm... no thank you. Dust and grease in the kitchen? Yum! =9 Lectures start tomorrow for us here in Waterloo. Most co-op jobs also start tomorrow...unless you're like the new BMO InvestorLine co-op students and were eager to start last week. Hmm. So besides the excitement of moving back to Waterloo and starting school again, it's also Peter's Birthday. PAR-TAY! Happy Birthday, Peter! On Friday I took the day off work (the very last day of my co-op work term at BMO InvestorLine) to visit Mac with Mr. Xiao, drop in on a sleepy Mr. Tim and shoot some photos of Mr. Peter's cool car.

In Yesterday's UW Daily Bulletin: Co-op Professional Development courses in ALL faculties are planned. Starting Fall 2006, new Arts and Math students will have to suffer the same fate as us engineering students have for the past year or two. In Fall 2007, new Environmental Science (ES), Applied Health Sciences (AHS), and Science students will suffer the same fate as the rest of the campus. Will there be PDArch(itecture) and PDPharm(acy)? Oh the joys of attending Waterloo... But, I feel that some students really need these professional development courses. Some really lack professionalism and makes the UW co-op program look a little... bad, for a lack of a better word. Common sense, yes, to some. But some people just don't have common sense? Scary stuff. | |
