Dala at First Canadian Place
Ever heard of Dala? I haven't either...until they came for a noon-time concert at FCP this afternoon at the Waterfall stage. Live, their music is much more exciting than their recordings, just like The Philosopher Kings when they were at FCP this past Valentine's Day. The two girls, Amanda and Sheila, grew up right here in Scarborough and went to school only about three kilometres from where most of us live. Interesting... raymond: we'd need to win at least 8 of our remaining games to get a decent chance which must be coupled with at least 4 losses by any of the teams ahead of us. so, i can see the 4 losses happening, but 8 of our remaining 10? eh. it'd be good to see, but chances are slim. however, let's cheer for edmonton! =D though i'd like to see naslund get another chance and see if auld cracks under the pressure of the playoffs. | |
