No CF cards to report about, but there are some nice 2GB SD card sales, fyi (though you don't have a P&S or D50, so why do I bother...). Unfortunately you missed out on the Ultra II 2GB SD from Dell.ca (just search Dell). It was going for $99! I wasn't able to cash in on it either - out of stock. Futureshop has regular 2GB SD cards for $99.

Um... I got my Kingston 2GB Elite from the States... Good 'ol Dell fell victim to my swindling. I'd say wait until you can go to the states because the cheapest over there I saw on Froogle was $85 USD...

Volunteer at the diving competition in the Olympics, might get to see ALEXANDER DESPATIE! =D

Wait, that's in the summer Olympics... boo =(

hmm, get some Olympic feeling by going downtown to the Olympic Spirit Toronto? =D
but of course, that's not the same =)

Scott
Sorry Tim, that page won't be updated for "a while" ;-)

And... all done Alex! ;-) ;-)

SanDisk Ultra II 2GB CF Card @ Henry's for $125.99. Hmmm... So tempting... $63 per gig of Ultra II.

It's a long wait until Christmas...again =P

Are there any cheaper Ultra II / Extreme III 1GB+ CF Cards out there? Even the cheapest Kingston Elite 1 GB I saw this past weekend was more expensive (per gig) than this. hmmmm...

I sadly just parsed the page...

Scott, you "almost" feel that you should do something for the Olympics?
You *should* do something =D

Tim L.
Scott, Not Exactly

You now own me a cookie! =P

Scott
I almost feel that I should make something for the Olympic games. The only thing I've done so far that's related to olympics is this image banner at work....

Oh, not to disappoint you, they'll be calling the applicants around 2008-9 to make sure that they still want to come, and then they might take more people at that time if they need to.

Scott
Wow alex, is that a real RSS feed or did you just parse the webpage?

Anyways, sorry Tim L., the volunteer applications for Vancouver 2010 was done like more than two years ago.

Alex T.
That would indeed be cool.

And the Opening Ceremonies tape is sitting here.

Raymond
That would be cool now wouldnt it?

Tim L.
I'll watch that tape of the opening ceremonies.

You know what would be cool? Volunteering at Vancouver 2000 and 10.

Some Chinese pair figure skater fell, but since the marks are based on the technical aspect and not the entire presentation, they still managed to get a silver, interesting.

Raymond

Torino 2006 Sidebar Update:

1. It's not as messed-up looking in IE and low resolution screens now.

2. Flags have been added.

3. The background has been changed so that countries near the bottom of the list can be read.

4 through 58,628. Minor tweaks here and there but there's still so much to improve on.

Heading into Day 3 of Torino 2006...

Sun of a Beach, you did it.

Good times chatting it up last night: "Gotta have someone to blame when things goes wrong!"

Have fun walking around! It's a nice day today, at least at Guelph it is.
