Just a random fact of the day. I know eh? Cellphone would be cheaper too, not these crappy models. Get some sleep! =)

Compare and Contrast - Part 2
![]() Hmm... right now, I feel like the former. If only we had cell phone services plans in Canada that were like some of the convenient U.S. ones - long distance coverage across the entire eastern seaboard included... or just inter-province. Sigh. Me dead. Me tired. Me sleep.

Freaky aint it?

Compare and Contrast - Part 1
![]() I open up Wednesday's edition of the Waterloo Chronicle newspaper and this is the first thing I saw. Everyone's among us! My first final exam is tomorrow. To start off, Management Science - Organizational Behaviour MSCI 211. It's a 50-minute in-class exam that consists of three short answer questions and two questions based on a case study we have to read during the exam. Hmm... A final exam with a mark denomination of 25 = freaky. Five marks per question. Five questions. That's it. Hmm... Good luck on all your exams (or PDEng), everyone! On that note, there's going to be a PDMath for Mathies soon. WAHAHAHAHAHA...

ECE 222. Great. Severely annoying you say? I'll take your word for it, Richard. You got any hints and advice? =D
E&CE Pizza Lunch Speaking of ECE, the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department hosted a free pizza lunch for the second year students yesterday in the DC Fishbowl. We say it's the only time we'll ever get to be in that awesome glass room with the spiffy black chairs. It wasn't just the cardboard-lie pizza from Campus Pizza, but it was a variety of pizzas from Pizza Pizza. Whoa. Our ticket admitted us to three slices of pizza and a beverage, but there was so much left over, it was practically unlimited pizza and drinks for all. At the end of the lunch, we even got to take two whole pizzas home. Well, there's lunch for our MSci group later today - courtesy of our very own Electrical & Computer Engineering Department - i.e. courtesy of our tuition money? With a few thousand dollars paid by each student, it's fair to provide a few lunches, right? =D A few extremely random photos from the event: http://www.ece.uwaterloo.ca/~atruong/ecelunch2a/

Wait till you get to ECE 222 in the summer. It is severely annoying. 223's a joke compared to it. Don't be fooled by the decrement of course numbering...

Oh my gosh, Tim, that's an EXCELLENT idea! Hmm...

It's like marshmellow red... whatever that is. Hurry, patent the colour!

The long week ends
If only it was a long weekend, though the end of a long week is just as satisfying. I can't believe I've almost spent 42 hours in the past 3 days working in my ECE223 Digital Design lab...and the lab report still isn't fully completed yet. Then there's calculus assignment too... Staying in the lab until 4am, walking home in the beautiful glistening snow (It really is beautiful) through a deserted campus for two hours of sleep each night for the past two days has become quite an adventure. The snow still hasn't stopped falling... It seems like it's fallen for two days. It didn't take long for the drab grey concrete to be blanketed with a pure clean white. I step outside, see the snow falling, and I can't not be reminded of three people. Christmas is just around the corner. In one month, it will be Christmas Day. I'm definitely looking forward to the break. But before then, there are quite a few more hurdles to overcome. Co-op work term begins once again on January 3rd, so I'll be back at BMO IL in Toronto until May. Oh shoot, I fell asleep typing this entry....that's it... I'm heading home for dinner and a little nap. I'd better be able to wake up and continue working on that lab report... On with the battle...

Interesting lol | |
Alex T. | |
Oh yes, that's right, Raymond... you know you want to try... hours and hours of endless fun... then... you find someone new to stick in front of the camera. =D
Raymond | |
