i was so into google talk when it first came out xD
but yes, it's very simplistic :)
Alex T. | |
Oh the simplicities of Google Talk... nothing to adjust, nothing to setup. Just click "Call". So simple my parents use it.
So without a residential phone line here in Waterloo, just call me over Google Talk. It's low bandwith with nice quality...good enough for my current crappy net connection. If you need a Gmail account, you can ask me or anyone else for an invite...I just notice it's up to 100 invites per account now...whoa.

In the mean time...enjoy a little repetitive F.I.R lyrics?

Raymond | |
The pic is good though, no complaints here
Alex T. | |
Oh boy, it can get chilly at night and in the morning...
I didn't get a chance to run outside before the clouds rolled in last night. Shooting the moon through a screen window really sucks. ![]()
Alex T. | |
Well obviously, Raymond, I'm not talking about your Taiwanese grandparents...lol
And suuure thing, miss. You're lucky, I was assigned the block of photos with your photos in it =D I ate two little cakes last night..So i've saved two for tonight..mmmm..dinner...

The sweet sound of Mandarin... so much more elegant and soothing to listen to on a weekend to relax...
*sigh* | |

Clubs Day - Day 1
I'M SO TIRED...and my throat is irritating me. With all the millions and millions of clubs in the SLC Great Hall, it was loud. Clubs playing music, clubs spinning music, clubs with background music. I say it's all background NOISE. All I hear all day from people is "How many Chinese clubs can there be?!" And I can clearly hear 光良 - 童話 in the background blaring away...I don't think I've screamed across a table that loudly or for that long in my entire life. A big thank you to Will and Lisa for helping out today. I think it was a great success for the limited-ness that we had at our table. All we had was our 3-feet long logo banner, introductions page and sign-up sheets...which I finished making at 2 AM in the morning... We ran out of the general meeting reminder slips around lunch-time. I didn't think we needed that many..oops...gotta print more tonight... We also had the Monte Carlo Night portrait photos and the previous terms' contest and poster photos in a slideshow rotating on my notebook display, until the battery died near 2:30PM. There were quite a few enthusiastic people who signed-up today. "I've waited so long for this day!" uhh..really? whoa...That's kinda interesting to hear. I think there's an even mix between film and digital folks. Many of them asked about darkroom-related events, others asked for Photoshop-related events. Let's see how this term will play out. I don't think I saw a single Canon Digital Rebel owner on that list! =O But there were many film Rebel G/Ti/2000's though. A couple Nikon D70's =D + film N80s, F90X's, etc. I think Canon and Sony led the point-and-shoot category. It's great that I only had one lecture to attend this morning..at 8:30AM, and the rest of the day was pretty much either UW Photo Club promotion, lunching, or water drinking. Tomorrow's another Clubs Day...so off to go mass printing I go... And Alice, FRIDAY...Monte Carlo photos will be e-mailed by FRIDAYYYY...btw, nice see you =D ...and other Mac people.

So here I am...sitting in the living room of our townhouse...typing away...on our own net connection...not popping off...and wireless as well.
Yeah for free wireless router/modem from Bell.
Alex T. | |
This certainly makes up for the 7 hours a day for 5 days a week last term.
Richard | |
Bastard. 12:30 everyday? I wish I didn't have 7 hours every Tuesday and Thursday with only 1/2 hour of break inbetween. *dies*
