| Charing and I have arrived in Redmond! No, we're not homeless and sleeping in the car. We finally received our housing information while we were waiting at the gate to board our flight (for the second time). Internet via cellular network is awesome. =D
I'm now sporting a tiny silver Hyundai Elantra with massively sensitive brake pedals and no oomph on the gas. We drove from SeaTac airport to the housing key pickup location (without help from GPS and without getting lost this time!) only to find that our key packages weren't there! While we were dialing on the courtesy phone to the help line, an ABODA corporate housing dude arrived with a few more key packages and ours were there in the newly arrived batch. *phew*. We've taken over a three-bedroom suite in the Trails of Redmond (again), so I'm back in familiar territory. Tomorrow, we'll go stock up on... goods. Zzzzzzz.... | |
