| I've read that every time you beat the world record your country or some body gives you some extra cash, so it makes sense to only incrementally beat the world record until you can. Hopefully he'll still be able to compete at a high enough level in 2012 since there's no way any of us will see the sprinting at the world championships every year. | |

| *agrees with Richard*
He did that in the final too! He still hasn't given his all O__O
| Calvin | |
| Wow Alex, that's great encouragement! | |
| Alex T. | |
| Calvin, that means you should nap and wake up more! | |
| Calvin | |
| Haha, I was watching the semifinals for Wrestling with Huynh on my flight home, and then I wake up and she got the gold. Yay! | |
| Alex T. | |
| Yep. Watching Bolt is also amazing. It's like he doesn't even need to try! | |
| Dan T. | |
| Yay! Canada's on the board!!
Awesome day for the Olympics, great stories across the board.
| Richard | |
| As impressive as Phelps is, Usain Bolt from Jamaica was even more incredible, in my opinion. He stopped running and trying after 80m! | |
| Adrian | |
| what the... I wake up and now we have 3 medals! | |
| Alex T. | |
