Using the slideshow below to transition between 7 and 8 of 40 in Bei's Birthday set creates a pretty cool, and maybe creepy effect!

Awesome photos Al, although, where is the Canada Day BBQ set!? You haven't cover the Toronto happenings since Christmas!

This time around, only the 50mm prime lens was used. All of the photos in ToT were shot at f/1.8 because of the poor dim lighting. Only cloudy daylight shone through the windows. The gym lights were not turned on until the end of the match.

YoY got better lighting since the gym lights were on. This allowed me to shoot at f/2.8 for more sharpness, but still keep a 1/250s shutter speed for moderate amounts of action freezing goodness while balancing exposure. The fixed 50mm view was challenging for framing, but the lower ISO selections made it well worth it. Auto ISO on Nikon dSLRs is awesome. This allows me to keep the noise down as low as possible while keeping shutter speed and exposure as expected.

Thanks for inviting me, guys. I'll see what else I can come up with for Tuesday's game. I'll be trying out my Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 for a variable view with semi-low light performance and OK bokeh. If I'm adventurous, maybe I'll even pull out the slow 300mm for some tight framing and excruciating facial expressions.

I can't wait.

Dang. The clamp that the rocker dude and other dude used to clip the security cable off the dead LCD monitor was massively impressive: one metre long finger-snipping goodness.

Scary...

I like the "out of order" sign, lol...

In all the pictures of me, I'm slaving away at the computer... My butt hurts from sitting in that chair all day.

Oh ya, and you can see the annoying tech support guy in some of the pics. He's the 40yr old with the rocker long hair...
