| There are some not online that have really weird facial expressions... | |
| Timbo | |
| Where was the other team's uniform?
And Calvin: There's always pics of someone and their weird facial expressions when you have a shoot with A-dawg, he likes to capture one's quirkiest moments, both on and off purpose (off purpose, did I just type that?)

| ToT vs. YoY Volleyball
Ladies and gentlemen: the epic ToT vs. YoY volleyball game photos have been processed and uploaded to Picasa. There's quite a few of them as I haven't had much time to filter through them yet. Sorry, massive noise reduction is in effect as I don't have my fast prime lens with me in Waterloo. Most of these are at ISO 1600 pushed up a few stops in ACR... I did find that the vertical grip helps so much. There's much much less camera shake even on the long tele end. I attribute this to the comfortable grip and the stepless shutter release! No more hard-click half-press to focus - just one smooth depression. Auto AF also performed admirably for all the blind shooting. Half of these photos must have been blind shots without looking through the viewfinder. More FPS, cleaner high ISO and the 70-200 mm VR would have been nice. Anyone have a D3? ;)

| So now the debate is... which is more troubling? An open source format that isn't easy to figure out? or a closed source format that no one can open easily? | |
| Scott | |
| I needs to view.. but its ok..... I got the tex document to open as pdf...
only to find that its the old and irrelevant version of the course... The solution was actually very simple. I went ahead and installed Virtual PC 2007, and then installed Windows XP SP2, and then the proprietary file viewer (that I think the prof wrote himself) to get me access to the content I need to see.
