| Doo dee doo... oh nothing, Richard... | |
| Richard | |
| So what if I did... | |
| Alex T. | |
| You didn't really fall for it, did you? =O | |
| Richard | |
| So I'm a bit slow... | |
| Scott | |
| lol way to go Richard | |
| Richard | |
| Yeah... t'was an April Fools joke... boo. :( | |
| Scott | |
| Remember to wear protective goggles at all times while conducting the experiment. | |

| Quick, someone find us a bunch of SB-800s! Attack of the killer (Alien)Bees! | |
| Richard | |
| Oh yeah, forgot that you were GMT-8. Crazy.
I expect some serious studio setups!
| Alex T. | |
| I am converting my SB-800 into an AlienBees strobe.
But seriously, it's "only" 2 AM here on the west coast - time for me to go hit the hay, or the springs, in my case. I've got to rest my eyes after all those bright 480 watt-second flashes ;)
| Richard | |
| Bah... April Fools... bah...
What are you doing up at 5am?!
| Richard | |
| What?! Wider than my already 28mm? Do go on... | |
| Alex T. | |
| Hey, Richard, it works like a charm and can be done in a flash! (pun intended). Thanks!
Did you know if you access the service menu on your PowerShot P&S, you can go wider than your already wide view? Now, that's a sweeping discovery! Digital-zoom is such a crappy useless feature that produces crappy interpolate images, but this extrapolating feature is ingenious.
| Richard | |
| For Alex (and anyone else with dedicated flashes): time to get your strobe on.
And some clarification on Adobe Express' EULA / ToS. I found it to be really slow at work though and I couldn't even imagine how much slower it is at home on my wi-fi connection. Then again, they did say that it would be slower for anyone outside the US...

| lol wow, those are awesome pics...Lego too! | |

| Classic Photographs in Lego (link fixed)
if you guys haven't seen it yet :) he has setup shots for them too. (he shoots with a Nikon ;) )
| Alex T. | |
| Goodbye to Canada. Back to Redmond we go while Calvin "works on his P***G"... | |
| Scott | |
| So in plain English, that EULA translates to, once you make the image publically viewable on Photoshop Express, they have license to publish it to the public. So as long as the photos are kept "private" they don't need to worry about covering their butt. Flickr has similar terms of service as well. =p | |
| Alex T. | |
| That's something to look at... so tired.. | |

| To my friends in the states:
$0.99 Bluetooth headset from Buy.com after $10 instant rebate for new users to Google checkout!! I was about to purchase one, but they don't ship to canada. I guess Adrian was right when he said that having a US address has sooo many perks... >.
