| And we're through! That was the fastest questioning period ever. Canada!! | |
| Alex T. | |
| so we're now sitting at the border... waiting... for forty minutes now... waiting... | |
| Dan T. | |
| have fun guys, enjoy the snow. | |
| Alex T. | |
| Suuuure...
Alright. I'll spam you a message when we cross the border.
| Calvin | |
| Then...um....shall I pack a tripod or two?
But anyways, remember to text me, cuz I'm gonna be staying at work until you guys cross the border.
| Alex T. | |
| Calvin! I don't have anything! I don't have anything to bring but your photos! AHH!! | |

| Do I really need Extreme III speed? Well, downloading is much faster and it doesn't struggle as much in camera compared to the Ultra II. The Ultra II was fine with the D70, but D80 files are now double the size of the D70's... ack.
I got two readers because my brother would have one in Toronto, while I would wonder off to Waterloo with the other. Not that my brother and I didn't share toys as children, but I'm pretty sure we're grown up now ;) It was less than $20 for a card reader and less than $80 for the 8 GB card. There's a massive rebate on the card too, but I won't be around long enough to receive that. $10/GB Extreme III is fair enough for me.

| Alex, heads up. We're gonna take the Envoy instead of the Jeep. Contrary to what most people believe, my Jeep + tires combo actually performs quite badly on snow. So bring as much luggage as you want, there'll be plenty of space!!! Too bad I can't take the Hummer >.> or can I?... | |

| adobe doesn't claim ownership, but they just 99% of the shares to your work....
"it's yours! but we reserve the right to do whatever we want with it, whenever we want, wherever we want, without asking you, the OWNER, for permission. and we want to be able to sell YOUR work to other people and not give a bloody cent to you while we make our $$$." having said that, no one's forcing anyone to use the service. companies, like people, look out for numero uno first, i.e. themselves. so inevitably, good services for good services sake goes by the wayside.
| Richard | |
| That's quite the evil on Adobe's part. What happened to corporations granting good services for granting good services' sake?
Do you really need Extreme III speed? :P How much did all that cost you? And the two readers...?

| Adobe Photoshop Express
Photo-tweaking made easy that anyone can use is now available withAdobe Photoshop Express, and it's all online. No downloading software, no fees, but there's a section in the ,a href="https://www.photoshop.com/express/terms.html" title="Adobe Photoshop Express Terms of Use" target="_blank">Terms of Use that's very disturbing: 8. Use of Your Content. 1. Adobe does not claim ownership of Your Content. However, with respect to Your Content that you submit or make available for inclusion on publicly accessible areas of the Services, you grant Adobe a worldwide, royalty-free, nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, distribute, derive revenue or other remuneration from, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, publicly perform and publicly display such Content (in whole or in part) and to incorporate such Content into other Materials or works in any format or medium now known or later developed. WHHHHHHHHHAT?!

| Day 79 - Pink Blossoms
Saturday March 22, 2009 The beauty of spring has arrived here in Redmond. In many places across the city and especially here at home in the Trails of Redmond, pink blossoms are, well, blossoming. It's almost Japan-like, not that I know what Japan looks like... well, anyway. Please excuse the cloudy skies in the photos. I couldn't change the weather. Darn it. =) Photos
