| =D WEI for memory went from 4.5 to 4.9! woohoo!
but the Gaming graphics is still lowest at 4.0... there's only one way to fix that though...

| Well, to be more accurate, it's not that the Merom core can't be used at it's full speed, it's that the Santa Rosa chipset can't full use 800 MHz RAM. I don't think anyone has 800 MHz RAM in their system anyway, so it doesn't matter ATM. =) | |

| can never have too much RAM :)
well, except in the good ol' days when too much slowed a system down *rolls eyes*
| Alex T. | |
| RAM is always the best medicine, unless you've got tons already, then it gets expensive. =D | |
| Scott | |
| =D so fast so fast so fast | |
| Scott | |
| Mmm... RAM.... | |

| It's more like consent-by-showing-up-to-class. Bonus marks for everyone! | |
| Timbo | |
| I doubt it's a research, as you would've been required to sign a letter of consent. I'd be a bit scared if you didn't have to sign one for a study to occur.
Unless of course you've signed one from the previous study in your lecture, in which case, this experiment should've been stated in the consent package as well.
| Alex T. | |
| a little elaboration? | |
| Richard | |
| It's interesting... the processor is an 800MHz FSB one, but you supposedly won't be able to use it at its full speed until the Penryn chips come out. | |

| As we entered the room for our MSCI 311 exam this morning, not only did we find an exam questions sheet and an response booklet on the desks, we also had a bottle of water too!
Since we just completed a study in our last MSCI 311 lecture, we were wondering if this was also part of another MSci or Psychology study, or if the professor was simply nice and wanted to keep us all hydrated during the exam? Or something else...? ! I'll think he's just nice and leave it at that ;)

| WEI is still sitting at 4.8 due to memory speed limitations. It's still the same speed RAM. Photoshop, Bridge and ACR do fly and that's all I care about at the moment. | |

| oh my...poor guy:
http://www.citynews.ca/news/news_17571.aspx at least had a toilet hahaha

| what's the windows exp. score for the upgraded ram? | |
| Scott | |

| Scott | |

| Alex T. | |
| ...what concept is this for? | |
| Scott | |
| Oh yea... that's after writing out the binary bits.... =_= | |
| Scott | |
| encoding roughly 200 bits into hex. :@ | |

| From my good friends at PC Village, who practically had them sold out there too. It took them a few days to find me two sticks. | |
| Richard | |
| Where from? I can't seem to find a store like that. Direct Canada had some 2GB Buffalo sticks for $42 each, but no surprise, they're sold out. | |
| Alex T. | |
| Explaining concepts? or writing assembly? | |
| Scott | |
| Omg... ECE222 exam T_T soooo much writing... | |
| Alex T. | |
| No problem! I'll actually be on campus tomorrow, so that's even better. | |
