| So was ours probably, but I doubt your yearbook club sent out an official newsletter on how to download Photoshop for all eyes to see.
It's one thing to do it "under the table", it's a whole other story to do it through official forums. Al, let's go back to Mac and kick some butts, lol | |

| Well I suppose I won't bring up the fact that my entire school's Yearbook Committee was and most likely still is on cracked versions of CS2 - Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, the works. If we relied on the school to supply us anything, we would have had to go through layers of bureaucracy just to get Photoshop 7.0. That saddens and disappoints me deeply. | |

| Disappointed
Follow the trail and let's see if you guys can figure out what I'm disappointed and concerned about. Let's begin: Sir John A. Macdonald Collegiate Institute - Anime Club - [macdonald.egate.net] So our high school now has an Anime Club. Great. That's cool. Okay, now... From the school's website, follow the link to the club's website and poke around... (optional) MacAnime - Home - [acmacdonald.proboards86.com] Let's poke around to this thread: How to get Photoshop!!!! - [acmacdonald.proboards86.com] Considering that this is an official Sir John A. Macdonald C.I. club supervised by a Ms. Chan and a Ms. Brown (reference: Club Info thread) with the club's website linked from the official school website, I wonder what would happen if I forwarded the issue to the school's administration... I seriously question the thought process (in this case, the lack thereof) that goes through people's minds before they take action that seriously affects the professional and representational image of themselves and their affiliated organizations. As leaders of a school club, and moderators of the official club's forums, these persons should have an even greater sense of responsibility and duty. I am deeply saddened and disappointed. | |

| Killer Presentation!
I just came home from our Fourth Year Design Project (FYDP) Proposal Presentation. Our presentation was (as Dan put's it) killer! So killer that the professor wanted a copy of it. Very professional... very good guys... Our group consists of Adrian, Dan, Sherman and myself. Even though Sherman is away on exchange in Germany, we included a video of him explaining the features in our system. Apparently, no one has ever included exchange students in the presentations, so Shatshat was pleasantly surprised. Sherman will now be forever immortalized in UW-ACE! Haha. Good job, everyone! =D | |
