Newegg had them for $18.99. I got mine for a few bucks earlier, but there was a choice of colours.

Good to hear that the headset is comfortable. Now that I think about it, I was thinking of picking one up when I was in Cali, but was way too tired, and it wasn't really a low, low price.

How much did yours cost?

Richard
Their laptop deals are pretty poor as well. I'm looking at the m1330 and the specs on that are a piece of junk!

Scott
@Alex, yea I missed that too the first time. Terrible design. I guess they just assumed that everyone already has one of those high contrast UltraSharps and totally forgot about the laptops

Richard
Especially after they say, "Don't miss the Electronics and Accessories tab!" I want these speakers. $67.40+tax after a PM with Future Shop. Too bad we're here in the States where electronics are expensive! (I never thought I'd say that...)

Alex T.
I completed missed that grey disabled-looking Electronics and Accessories tab

Belkin 3-plug + 2 USB port mini power bar @ 12.99. Great for iPods/Cell phones =D

The earpiece sticks into the ear and the earloop snaps tightly to the ear. It's comfortable so far and it doesn't move around at all.

How does the Plantronics Explorer fit?

$12,000?! O.O

Alex T.
Nice.

Only a D3X? Nahhhh... I'm waiting for the $12,000 D3Xs ;)

Richard
I may be getting a 50mm f/1.4 and a 580EX II with Cashback (back up to 30%). Total of $500 for the two of them... But nothing this past weekend.

$8000 Nikon D3X for you, Alex?

Alex T.
Anyone else get anything?

Richard
I stopped buying after C&C: Tiberium Sun. That was the most god awful game ever. I think I played Red Alert 2 and Generals, which was a good proof-of-concept game. I haven't touched Red Alert 3, but I don't game that much anymore on this laptop. Maybe I should give that a try. But if I were going to buy a game, Left 4 Dead would be it.

Alex T.
Fixed. I hope.

Just saying :p

My Black Friday goodies both came from Best Buy in Bellevue. Before I got there, I was expecting a bit of a packed store or non-existent parking spaces as is usually the case for Boxing Day in Scarborough. Instead, I was greeted to a parking spot right in front of the door. Sweeeeeeet! I walked into Best Buy and was met with a free-flowing store.

I headed to the mobile phones section and picked up a Plantronics Explorer 360 Bluetooth headset. It wasn't a special low price or anything, but I was there anyway. My main objective for going to Best Buy at 8 AM was to find a copy of Command & Conquer 3 Deluxe Edition (Tiberium Wars + Kane's Wrath expansion pack) for $9.99. What a steal! (If I could find a copy...) When I spiritedly walked over to the PC Games shelves, there was a big gaping hole in the C&C Red Alert 3 and C&C Collections area. ='( I was sad for a few minutes so I randomly wandered the store in search of... nothing.

I wasn't about to give up because this was the only thing I really wanted to get today (but not desperate enough to warrant a 5 AM line-up). I returned to the PC Games shelves and rummaged through every single box. At last I saw C&C 3!! I was so excited, but that lasted for only a minute and then I realized that this was the not-on-sale version of C&C 3: Tiberium Wars, not the Deluxe Edition which included the expansion pack. I continued searching for a few more minutes and then came across C&C 3: Kane's Wrath, the expansion pack. Sigh... 1+1=2? Unfortunately...no. I continued searching all the way into the special The Sims display case, and finally! Persistence pays off I tell you! I finally found a C&C 3 Deluxe Edition hidden behind several layers of The Sims. Yayyyy!! Okay, now I sound like a kid again...

I loved playing C&C in elementary school. I was never into the Starcraft, but C&C? I was all over it. The original, Red Alert, Generals.. GDI! The Brotherhood of Nod! Allies! Soviets! For China! etc. etc. etc...ahhh weeeee... I also ordered The C&C Collections for $9.99 which includes Red Alert 2, Tiberium Sun, the expansion packs and Renegade.

There were no lines at the checkout counter and I was out of there in an instant. After relinquishing my prime parking spot at Best Buy to some eager family, I drove down the street to the Bellevue Square mall for a stroll. I wasn't expecting to be getting anything from here as I was pretty much done for the day, but I just wanted to join the festivities. As I approached the area, there were several of those big digital highway construction sign billboards dotted along the way to which gave drivers instructions for optimal routes to Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square. Stupid people didn't follow the signs and turned in to a traffic jam at the east parking lots. I followed the directions to enter on the west side where there wasn't a soul in sight. I entered, parked, and strolled into the mall.

Macy's was handing out free Ocean Spray Cranberry energy drinks to get shoppers going and a line at the Santa Claus photo booth was forming already. Holiday spirit is definitely in the air.

Cheers to stimulating the economy. (Mmm... water...)

Richard
Yeah, I'm curious as to what you picked up. I kept looking and looking and didn't find anything compelling.
