| Nice, Richard...I hope?
And also make that three interviews for me tomorrow, instead of the original two. NVIDIA wants another 45 minute interview with me for Applications Engineering. By the end of this, I would have interviewed with NVIDIA for a total of 5.5 hours...

| TELUS and Amazon are out... yay and nay for me... | |

| The final stretch
The Google interview for Platforms Engineering was less nerve racking that I thought it would be... but maybe it was because we were short on time and the interviewers didn't get a chance to dig deep? Is that a good sign? or a bad sign? I can never really tell what the conclusion should be when an interview goes well... Is it because the interviewer thought I couldn't answer any more technicals? or was it that there was nothing more that was intended to be asked? Hmm... *ponders* I still have two last interviews - both on Wednesday: one last AMD, which was rescheduled from Monday, and one last NVIDIA which was scheduled just tonight. AMD and NVIDIA to end it off (hopefully)... How...ironic? Some more people have been "unofficially" receiving offers already. I'm so excited for them. Of course all employers always follow the guidelines of not contacting students before ranking... of course... Friday 1 PM just can't come soon enough. On the academic front, mid-term #1 was written tonight - Communications Systems. It was a killer on many fronts. First, the questions were killer. Second, my neck and legs are were killing me. Why? Because we wrote our exam in AL-113 - lecture hall stadium seating with a teeny slide-up platform big enough to fit only a piece of paper (maybe?). Hunching over the small "desk" and legs too long to comfortable position in between the row of seats is really irritating. My goodness. Exams in the Arts Lecture Hall should be illegal. I shall be welcoming midterm #2 - Digital Systems Engineering - tomorrow (or later today, actually). And now... back to studying.

| Yes. So many of Word's linguistics features easily fascinate me. | |

| "Prize" is part of the official name and should be capitalized. :) | |
| Alex T. | |
| Random thought: I wonder how big is the repository of phrases in Microsoft Word? I just typed "Nobel prize" and it suggested a correction to "Nobel Prize". | |

| No emails from Santa Clara yet, unfortunately. Just emails from Thornhill. My Santa Clara interviews aren't even over yet! They just keep coming... day after day... literally. | |
| Richard | |
| E-mails from Santa Clara? Why bother going to Thornhill or Waterloo then?! There's this little issue of reams and reams of SNOW during the Winter months. | |
| Alex T. | |
| I've got a few ranked already and some emails. I'm putting my bets on Thornhill, Waterloo and Santa Clara at the moment. | |
| Richard | |
| Nope. Besides the TELUS second interview / placement interview, everyone else is silent. I'm ranked at least for both jobs that have submitted their rankings. Still waiting for a fortuitous e-mail or phone call... | |
| Alex T. | |
| One week left to JobMine rankings! 'Tis exciting times.
So... have any of your received any...indications/hints/confirmations of offers yet?
| Dan T. | |
| yes hearing about the interviews is exciting...waiting for the phone bill is equally exciting =D | |

| how exciting! :) | |
| Alex T. | |
| Immediately after my NVIDIA interview, they emailed me for interviews for another position... oh my cellphone bill! And I've yet to have my Google interviews next week too.
It's going to be a gross total...

| Alex T. | |
| Geeeez.. 180 minutes?? that must be under the category of interrogation and torture! | |
| Richard | |
| Good luck, Alex. :) | |

| I had two 1.5hrs interviews last term = 180 minutes (it was for the same company) | |
| Alex T. | |
| Who has the current record for the longest interviews for a single co-op position?
Can anyone top my NVIDIA 3 x 45-minute (135 minutes total) session tomorrow?
| Alex T. | |
| And I must say, Miss Alice is not crazy! I saw the Richard's LJ on the bottom of the Google searches for jobmine too! But now, I see it's been replaced by Valacosa's LJ... this IS interesting... | |
