| Re: alex- what a shame :S
So, I'm lying in bed on a beautiful day in waterloo... Hope you guys have a more exciting day :D Re: richard- how did that db assignment go? Lol
| Alex T. | |
| No, not too much bitter. Just a little disapproving of the unprofessional image that they are creating for themselves. | |
| Richard | |
| I'm surprised so many people applied to those AMD marketing positions (laptop GPU marketing and marketing engineer)... including me. What am I doing? I'm in software? :P | |

| Rotfl... Bitter much alex? :) | |
| Alex T. | |
| I need a sign that exclaims: "I'VE ALREADY REGISTERED FOR IMPACT EXPO... LET ME EAT MY LUNCH IN PEACE!" | |
| Alex T. | |
| AMD is on the ball. Interview candidates for some software engineering jobs have already been selected as of yesterday, the first day after job applications closed on JobMine. | |
| Scott | |
| According to my ex-classmate, nVidia is currently working him 1x hours/day and on some weekends. I'll specify the position if you ask me haha, but if you go to the interview for it you'll know. | |

| Scott: it may look confused but it's still pretty damn good looking. Better than your typical printer. | |
| Alex T. | |
| So I've heard... but it's just tempting to try for a co-op term. It's only four months. Maybe it was the department I was in, or just my optimistic views, but I really loved working at AMD. | |
| Scott | |
| That printer looks a little confused. Is it an Xbox? Is it a DS lite? No one knows. | |
| Scott | |
| Alex, nVidia won't be too much better than AMD. You've been warned. | |
| Dan T. | |
| woah... Apple = sleek design, Samsung = sleek design. Apple Store + Samsung laser printer = Apple the exclusive US retailer of Samsung's new printers - [engadget.com] | |

| It's that time again... JobMine-ing
UW JobMine is quickly filling up with boat loads of jobs. There appear to be tons of opportunities, and mostly outside of Toronto: California, Texas, BC, Ottawa, Montreal...and Waterloo. There are SOOOO many pages of RIM jobs, which isn't surprising considering we just heard today from Mike Lazaridis, co-CEO of RIM, that they hire >500 co-op students a term. RIM had a HUGE recruiting event in Fed Hall today: Food (real food), recruiters, Mike L, giant live hand-waving BlackBerry character, and raffle for a Pearl and a Curve. I also noticed that NVIDIA has quite a few job openings as well. So far, NVIDIA, AMD and RIM seem to pique my interests. 50 JobMine applications... which ones to apply for? Hmmm... I have 48 short listed so far...
| Alex T. | |
| Why, thank you. =D
I also noticed that the lettering on 米雪's t-shirt in the last photo is also... interesting. I just so happened to catch the ASSA without the second A... in all of her photos...
| Scott | |
| hahaha alex i just noticed the watermark in the very very last photo. VERY clever lol | |
| Raymond | |

| Makes me want to buy a DS.
But as we all know, the fund went to my textbooks, yay...
| Richard | |
| Maybe I'll win something this term... with my luck I'll probably just leave with a floppy frisbee... though I wouldn't be opposed to that... | |
