so do tell, review on spiderman 3

The Wedding and Event Workflow seminar was about using Apple Aperture. It's very cool, though it would require significant investment and dedication.
Other than that, all I can report about the show is that it's like what's expected: all the manufacturer's entire line of cameras, lenses, lights, printers, tripods, and anything photography-related is there. If you're in the market for buying something and you're not sure of what to get, this is definitely the place to see it all. and most importantly, try it all. One thing that I found very interesting was the advantages of having a dSLR with live preview for a seminar. For example, the portrait lighting seminar had such a setup. The live image through the lens, camera settings, menus, etc, were all projected on a big screen so everyone could follow along in the process. This allows the students to see not only the captured image (as it is traditionally with typical dSLR seminars), but also what the photographer would see and decide to change as he looks through the viewfinder. This live preview in a dSLR has such great instructional value. AC adapter recommended ;)

How was the photo show? I was in Buffalo over the weekend shopping, so I didn't end up going.

Raymond, you need This.
And, -1000 friendship points to you, Xiao, for ditching us and watch Spidey-3 with people that you SEE EVERY SUNDAY. Better show your *** to May 10th concert or other movie events or I'll kick your yellow asian butt back to Beijing, where fake Disneyland runs free. Government owned too!

![]() If you think and worry too much about everything, you just might turn out like him - a head full of white hair. Don't worry, be happy! But then sometimes, that's easier said than done. And then all of a sudden, it's time to face the music... Also, if you don't go to STC to watch Spider-man 3 at 7:30 PM tomorrow, you also might get a head full of white hair because you will our awesome company. =D Anyway, this photo was just a test of the old Nikon AF Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/2.8D ED lens that I tried at the photo show. Nice bokeh, AF was okay, nice weighted stability. It is louder due to the older non-AF-S, non-IF mechanics and I do miss the VR of the AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED lens. This photo was taken at 1/13 sec, 80 mm. It's not tack sharp, barely acceptable for the web, but a thousand times better than what my el cheap-o AF Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G could. Most importantly, the AF 80-200 also costs a whole grand less than the AF-S 70-200 VR.

Spidey-3 7:00pm Monday night (tomorrow).
Short notice, I know, and I apologize. And I also realize it's dinner time, but it is a two hours and 30 min show, and I know people have work the next day. But it's set, so hopefully I'll see some people there!

Al, why so quick to deny the presence of Battlestar episodes? Unless it's an inside joke between you and Dan, which I will not try and attempt to understand.
And btw, on my Mac the page is breaking.

A pretty bad (or rotten) cream of the crop rating on Rotten Tomatoes for Spidey-3. Although I am worried considering Spidey-2 got a 95%, I'm keeping an open mind nevertheless, I find it a bit unfair lots of reviews gave a score based on comparison to the previous films in the series, rather, I think the film should be judge independently.
I liked the Drama in the Spider-Man series though, makes it more of an intelligent film rather than a mindless wrestle-fest in a CG-ed New York, but maybe this one has too much? We'll see. BTW, if everything go as planned, we're going to see it Monday early evvening, probably at Fairview, if anyone objects as to the choice of theatre, speak now, or forever hold your peace.
