This is the project website for the ICARUS design team.
The aim of ICARUS is to create Immersive Control, Action and Response, for Unmanned Systems. This is to be achieved by creating an immersive environment for the unmanned aerial vehicle pilot, and provide immediate visual and tactile feedback so that the pilot can be in the pilot's seat.
The ICARUS Design is developed by a group of Mechatronics Engineering undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo as part of the ME481/482 fourth year project course. The final design will be presented at the Mechatronics Engineering Design Symposium at the Davis Centre, on March 19th, 2012.
