During the two years prior to this, I was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary.

Before moving to Calgary, I worked for about a year in the medical imaging field with Mitra Imaging Inc.., now owned by AGFA.

I completed my PhD in 1996 as a member of the Vision and Image Processing (VIP) research group.
