Engineering Switch Upgrade Program Continues
Ongoing. Still have a couple of old Cisco switches to upgrade
across
Engineering.
A number of departments within Engineering are still hard coding IP numbers. A project has been put forward to migrate these groups to use DHCP. This will require physically or remotely visiting each affected machine. A number of departments will be waiting for the move to E5 to start implemntation. Timeline for completion middle of 2010.
