Engineering Departmental Moves

 

Still ongoing. The Chemical Engineering move to E6 has percipitated various other departmental moves. The remaining Systems design staff in DC continue to move into DWE. Civil is moving into some vacated Electrical Engineering areas in E2 which requires re-trunking and some backbone cabling modifications.

 

Engineering Machine room move to E5

 

Waiting for fibre to be laid between E3-3150 and E2-1308B.

DHCP conversion and IP cleanup

 

Ongoing. Most of EIT has been converted to using DHCP, 12 still remain.

 

Engineering 10 Gig Fibre Upgrades

 

Ongoing. New switches installed in E5 and CPH. Will be moving servers over in the new year.
