Engineering Departmental Moves

 

The Chemical Engineering move to E6 has percipitated various other departmental moves. The remaining Systems design staff in DC continue to move into DWE. Civil is moving into some vacated Electrical Engineering areas in E2 which requires re-trunking and some backbone cabling modifications.

 

Engineering Machine room move to E5

 

Racks are in and fibre layed and terminated. Waiting for IST switch installation.

DHCP conversion and IP cleanup

 

Ongoing. Most of EIT has been converted to using DHCP, a few still remain. Removed five vlan trunks from the E2 router to the EIT router. Mechanical Engineering has started moving their clients to DHCP.

 

Engineering 10 Gig Fibre Upgrades

 

Ongoing. Waiting for IST switch upgrade in CPH-1346A
