Engineering Departmental Moves
Still ongoing. The Chemical Engineering move to E6 has percipitated various other departmental moves. The remaining Systems design staff in DC have finished moving into DWE. Electrical is now moving into some of the space vacated by Systems Design in DC.
Engineering Machine room move to E5
Fibre laid between E3-3150 and E2-1308B. HP 5406 chassis installed and powered up. Hookup to E2 planned for this week, reading week.
DHCP conversion and IP cleanup
Ongoing. Most of EIT has been converted to using DHCP, 9 still remain. ERC has a new user-client vlan and machines are starting to be moved over.
Engineering 10 Gig Fibre Upgrades
Ongoing. New switches installed in E5 and CPH. Will be moving servers over into E5 later this week, reading week.
