Engineering Departmental Moves/Renovations
Recabling of three large labs ( E2-3344,3346,3347 ) and a number of
offices in E2 3rd floor with E2-3347 having been fully renovated this
past term. At the same time a new TR was installed and cabling is in
the process of being re-routed/installed to it . Ongoing until January
2014 due to Lab usage.
DHCP conversion and IP cleanup
Ongoing. Vlan 129.97.86.0/24 freed up by ECE for general campus use. Vlan 129.97.174.0/24 being cleaned up.
Engineering rogue AP investigations
Have started investigating Wifi interference in CPH. The APs in CPH were recently upgraded this past summer and a site survey was done by IST. A number of areas of interference was determined.
