Martin: trying to get ACAD drawings of Engineering Buildings to assist with wiring diagrams

Bruce: On leave for 3 months starting June 19.  Contact Mike Hurst while I am away.  For NetApp account moves, contact Mike Hurst or Hon Tam.

Erick: Cisco 2916 problem described.  Hon found a network mismatch in DC which was affecting the DAVIS Waterloo Polaris system.

Beth: Win2000 training.  Extra person from Civil is Richard Scott.  Week of June 26, 2.5 day course which is not hands-on. Engineering section will be Monday, Tuesday and half of Wednesday.

Beth: new Waterloo Polaris lab in DC-3583A called "pulley". 20 workstations.

Martin: GAFF reorganization.  Lever computers moved in, 5 x-terminals remain.

Beth: For the 2000 lab, Hon is the primary contact.

Bruce: Mike Hurst has implemented a mechanism to allow departmental system administrators to samba access home directories of users within their departments.

Martin: Investigating network performance issue, which seems to affect newer machines.

Mike: Continues to have problems with network performance on newer machines on Waterloo Polaris.  Has given a troublesome machine to Hon for diagnostics.

Erick: "Network Authentication" talk on Friday, June 9, by Dawn Whiteside of IST.

Dennis: Asked about IST Linux support plan.  See the  CSAG minutes
