completed

Nexus
- SP2 bug interaction with NetApp - topic introduced by Dennis
- testing upgrade with ES NetApp
- acceptable risk to run with SP1 on workstations until
resolution
- all servers running SP2, more risk there
- Hon mentioned all 98on campus and believes it is a bigger
thread
- Virus scanning on server
- available as a NetApp feature, but expensive
- Bruce tried en-masse scanning with 95 but it crashed, may
retry with W2K scanner
- Ray believes NAV on clients is enough protection
- procmail available for Email virus scanning, but Norton
for Email servers is too expensive
- Spam
- ORBs is gone, bankrupt!
- MAPS is still there but is not as agressive and allows
more spam through
- Engmail lets users get through by using a daily key
Nexus Part II
- (Dennis) Microsoft Disk Quota Passed
- probably passed over quota on N:
- hon only applies quota on C:
- need more details - error log message is useless
