I am a Ph.D. candidate in Laboratory of Computational Intelligence and Automation at the University of Waterloo. My current research area is multi-layer control system of  modular and reconfigurable robot manipulator platforms.


Reseach & Projects

My current research interests
are in nonlinear control and estimation, multi-layer control design approaches, robust and adaptive control designs, modular and reconfigurable robots, robot kinematics and dynamics modeling, and dynamical systems. My other research interests are in theoratical nonlinear control, cable robots, real analysis, differential geometry, robust control, system ID and adaptive control of mechatronic systems, modeling and control issues in micro/nano electro-mechanical systems.   • Robot kinematics: forward and inverse kinematics methods
  • Automatic remodeling approaches for robot kinematics and dynamics
  • Multi-layer control system approaches on modular and reconfigurable robots
  • Observer design for robot manipulators
