About Me

Here is a brief summary of my education, experience and extracurriculars

Hello! I am a mechatronics engineering student at the University of Waterloo completing my undergraduate degree in the spring of 2015. I have a strong interest in embedded systems, power electronics and mechanical design, and such a bias has driven me to pursue personal projects focusing in these areas to further develop these skills.

Throughout my years in university I've come to realize that engineering theory is nothing without experience in practical application. For this reason, I've taken it upon myself to self-teach design practices with different areas of focus. I have a strong learning ability and a passion for hands on development in a number of different areas. This experience has given me the ability to be able to follow a design process from start to finish with enhanced pre-emptive knowledge about the scope of the project and the range of difficulties that may be experienced in each step along the way.

I also strongly value the importance of a balanced and healthy lifestyle, it can't be all work and no games. I frequent the gym every week, play many sports/workplace extracurriculars, love to cook and of course enjoy casual drinks with a good group of people. Feel free to look over some of the projects I've been working on in the last few months and contact me if you're interested.
