The Long Tail of My Music Listening Habits
The following charts show The Long Tail
of how I listen to my favourite artists/albums/songs. A tall head (the leftmost partition of
the graph) with a significantly shorter tail (the rest of the graph)
indicates that my music listening habits are hit-driven - I
regularly listen the same artists/albums/songs. A head which is
relatively indistinguishable from the tail implies I regularly listen
to a diverse set of artists/albums/songs - no few artists drive the
music I listen to.

Sources of Error
Last.fm measures all audio I've listened to on my computer. As a result, there is error introduced by the non-music audio (eg. podcasts, talk shows, movies) that I've listened to on my computer.
Artists, albums, and songs may be improperly tagged on my computer. As result, the total amount of music listened to by artists/albums/songs could be lower than anticipated.
