I received B.Engg degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Tribhuvan University, Nepal in 2005 with university fellowship. I received M.Engg degree in Information and Communication Technologies from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2008 with scholarship from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and the government of Finland. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada from where I received PhD degree in 2016 (major in Wireless Communication). I was a Research Assistant at BBCR Group from 2010-2015. I was with BlackBerry as a student research engineer during Fall 2013 and with Simens Limited, Bangkok, Thailand as EGP Engineer (IT Engineer) in 2008-2010. My research interest includes performance evaluation, mathematical modeling and analysis, queuing theory, and resource allocation problems in communication networks. I am a co-recipient of the Best Paper Awards from the IEEE Globecom in 2012 and the joint runner-up in Valeo Innovation Challenge 2014.
