What if being a student was considered a job? Determine how many hours a week you spend in class, and at what time of the day. Are you given adequate breaks for lunch and rest? Check up Ontario's legislated rules for working hours and breaks (its on the web). When do you study - are you using your circadian physiology effectively or are you working constantly under conditions of circadian disrhythmia? Map out a new schedule that gives adequate breaks. Indicate your study periods. Discuss the impact of your new schedule on classroom utilisation and professor's schedules - obviously your schedule has to work from multiple perspectives or it won't be adopted.
