The Sandford Fleming Foundation supports five different competitions held throughout each year for undergraduate engineering students at the University of Waterloo:
These five competitions, together with the Innovative Design Competition, are held with the Waterloo Engineering Competition (WEC) around Week 8 of the Spring and Fall calendar terms. In addition, SFF Debates and the SFF Technical Speaking Competitions are held separately during the Winter calendar term.
