Usability Testing

Usability testing measures the effectiveness, ease of use and satisfaction with which users achieve their goals. When we perform a usability test for you, we evaluate the way real users interact with your product:

First, we set up our lab in an environment typical of that in which your product will be used.

Next, we carefully set up the test itself. We identify the relevant characteristics of your users and create a task list, consisting of all the key tasks to be performed with your product.

In the controlled environment, we then record the actions and comments of users during their interaction with your product. Afterwards, we conduct an interview to ask the users for their personal opinions.

All this information, quantitative and qualitative, is analyzed and the results will be presented in a report. Whenever possible, we illustrate our conclusions with representative video clips.

Heuristic Evaluation

We can also perform a heuristic evaluation of your product as an alternative to usability testing, if you need a cheap and quick way of assessing your design. During such an evaluation, we utilize the usability guidelines and our experience to identify key usability issues.
