The team consists of University of Waterloo undergraduate students from a variety of fields. By participating in the project, students are exposed to the design and construction aspects of engineering, applying the theoretical knowledge gained in class to practical, hands-on challenges. Senior students act as mentors for junior students, exposing them to knowledge not yet covered in their classes and providing the senior students with experience conveying technical information within an organization.
