SOAR
3
SOAR is a system designed to aid healthcare professionals in long term care facilities with the decision making process for preventative pressure ulcer care plans. Pressure ulcers are considered an indication of care quality as many believe they are a largely preventable injury with the proper preventative measures in place. The high cognitive load inherent in this profession results in difficulties properly tracking and intercepting pressure ulcers. SOAR offers an efficient and friendly way to record preventative interventions and understand the effectiveness of prevention efforts.
