Printing Solution

• plan to move spooling off of Watstar to Unix or NT
• must be able to handle the always-increasing print job sizes - larger than previous years
• must deal with enterprise level authentication (since students migrate)
• must migrate from Watstar accounting system to something else (eg. CAS)
• looking at Ethernet-connected printers to handle traffic volume
• system should allow but not require "release monitors"
