About the Concrete Toboggan
The creation of a concrete toboggan does not come without cost. The estimated budget for the 2004 competition is $35,000. Funds are required for:
- Material for testing
- Creation of prototype
- Final toboggan construction
- Promotional material including a display to promote our toboggan at the Technical Exhibition
- Competition Entry Fee
- Transportation to the race
- Accommodations for the 30 team members
The University of Waterloo GNCTR 2004 Team would appreciate your sponsorship, whether monetary, material, or service, to help offset the incurred costs. In return for your generous support, we can provide you with the following exposure (depending on sponsorship levels as described on the back of the pamphlet):
- Your company name and logo on the toboggan and on our team uniforms, which are worn at the Technical Exhibition and on race day
- Your company logo on our official UW GNCTR 2004 web site and on our display at the Technical Exhibition
