Carl A. Pollock Hall
My working place
The Faculty of Engineering is housed in five buildings: Douglas
Wright Engineering, Engineering 2, Engineering 3, J.R. Coutts
Engineering Lecture Hall, and Carl A. Pollock Hall (as seen in this
photo). The School of Architecture is located on UW's Cambridge
campus. CPH is the hub of student life in Engineering. On the first
floor, you find POETS—the student pub and lounge, the Engineering
Coffee and Doughnut shop (C&D) and the offices of the Engineering
Society. In DWE, E2, and E3 there are computer labs, classrooms, and
other lab facilities for the study of robotics, graphics, and heavy
machinery.
Columbia
Lake Village My living place
The Columbia Lake Village is located just off the main campus. These four-bedroom units are a good choice for those interested in a more independent style of living and who wish to prepare their own meals. A grocery store, pizza shop, and video store are just a five-minute walk away. There are also a community centre and laundry facilities within the village complex.
